Symago was chosen in an open and competitive procurement process to develop a call-in system to select different groups for dispatcher to dial out. The IVR application uses the following alogrithm:

  • Based on seniority and vacation schedule.
  • Dial individual.
  • Check if individual is able to report. If not, then the application finds other candidates.
  • It places outbound calls to contact desired personnel for emergency call-ins for specific staffing requirements
  • It places outbound calls to contact desired personnel for non-emergency call-ins for specific staffing requirements
  • It places outbound calls to contact desired personnel requesting that they contact the dispatcher
  • It places outbound calls to contact all-hands in the case of extreme emergency/staffing requirements.
