TTS – Text-To-Speech
Text-To-Speech (TTS) is an added feature that initiates a computer-based system to convert text into an automated spoken voice output. It has been particularly helpful for visually-impaired users who wish to access information over the phone, but has become more widely used by any caller trying to access textual information. Due to recent speech innovations, TTS can give companies the capability of allowing users to access various information over the phone, including e-mail messages, account information, weather updates, and so forth. Recent developments and research have led to improvements in increasing the naturalness of speech synthesis. With TTS, the speaking rate and tone can be adjusted according to the preference of sound. |
